Florida Tech Relay for Life Survivor’s Lap Starts March 25

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Relay for Life, a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, takes place March and April at various locations throughout the county, depending on participating teams. The Florida Institute of Technology event is the Relay for Life Survivor’s Lap, starting March 25 at 6 p.m. and continuing into the early morning. It will take place at the Charles and Ruth Clemente Center for Sports and Recreation.

Relay for Life is a fun-filled overnight event designed to celebrate survivorship and raise funds for research and programs of the American Cancer Society. During the event, individuals from teams of 10-15 members each take turns walking or running laps all night long. Each team tries to keep at least one team member on the track at all times.
