Center to Host SBA’s Hurricane Preparedness Seminar

– Florida Tech’s National Center for Small Business Information will host an informative seminar on hurricane preparedness on Wednesday May 17, from 6:30
p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Hartley Room on the campus of Florida Tech in Melbourne.

Hurricane Preparedness 2006, sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration, will offer participants the unique opportunity to speak with
representatives from the Federal, State and local governments in an effort to learn how to prepare for the upcoming hurricane season which begins on June
1.

Featured speakers include representatives from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Small Business
Administration (SBA), a private insurance adjustor firm and a rehabilitation firm.
