Florida Tech Professor to Speak on Global Leadership March 20

 MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology Psychology Professor Richard Griffith will present “Global Leadership and the Challenge of Influencing Across Borders” on March 20 at 3:30 p.m. in the Scott Center for Autism Treatment, Room 220, on campus The presentation is open to the public; those who wish to attend are asked to RSVP due to space limitations.

Griffith will present recent research and provide insights into the topics of megatrends that challenge global leaders; the alternative views of leadership around the globe; and the factors leaders should consider when building trust in global teams. The presentation will be of most value to those doing business internationally, either through expatriate assignments or leading virtual global teams.

Griffith is the director of the School of Psychology’s Institute for Cross Cultural Management. He is the editor and author of the upcoming books, The Age of Internationalization and Presenting Across Borders. Griffith’s work has been featured in Time magazine and The Wall Street Journal.
