Florida Tech Presents the Goddess in Community Presentation

– Nancy Blair, a sculptor and writer, will present, “The Goddess Awakening,” a slide lecture and tea at Florida Tech on Feb. 26 at 4 p.m. The event,
sponsored by the National Organization for Women and Florida Tech’s School of Psychology and Evans Library, takes place in the Evans Library’s Link Multimedia Room, second floor. There is no charge.

Blair will lecture on the Goddess myth, mystery and song, and will show art and artifacts from cultures all over the world. Author of four books on goddess
spirituality, art and healing, including, The Book of Goddesses, Blair earned a master’s degree in fine arts from the Mason Gross School of the Arts at
Rutgers University.

Her art work has been exhibited in solo and group shows in cities that include New York City, New Orleans, and Baltimore. Arts and women’s publications
throughout the country have published her poems, artwork and reviews. She lives and works in Melbourne Beach, Fla.
