WFIT Hosts Market Day at Florida Tech Nov. 21

MELBOURNE, FLA. — An open-air marketplace offering a variety of goods and products, from foods to jewelry, will pop up from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday on Crawford Green on the campus of Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne.

Hosted by Florida Tech’s radio station, WFIT 89.5 FM, and happening on the lawn behind the Crawford Building, off University Boulevard, Market Day will feature produce, plants, stuffed breads, soaps, organic scrubs, olives, cheese, pesto, fresh sauce, Avon products, salsa, hummus, cupcakes, jewelry and more.

New to Market Day is Younique by Jenilee, a purveyor of American-made, chemical- and cruelty-free makeup and skincare products.

Organizers are encouraging Florida Tech-based groups or organizations to host a table at Market Day, where they may hand out information or offer demonstrations of what they have to offer to the campus community. There would be no charge for these groups.
