Florida Tech Spring Commencement Set for May 7 at Clemente Center

University Will Confer Over 1,200 Degrees

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech will hold its spring commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 7, at the university’s Charles and Ruth Clemente Center in Melbourne.

Florida Tech will confer a total of 1,253 degrees, including 116 to students who completed their coursework through Florida Tech Online and 164 who attended classes at the university’s off-campus education centers. At the 9:30 a.m. undergraduate ceremony, more than 540 students are scheduled to cross the stage; the 2 p.m. graduate ceremony will see more than 365 participants.

The 2022 graduating class features students from 54 countries and 42 states.

Acting President Marco Carvalho will preside over both ceremonies. The undergraduate ceremony will feature an alumni address from Fin Bonset, ’96, ’99 MSA, president of the Florida Tech Alumni Association.

Reflecting current federal guidance, face coverings will not be required at the ceremonies.
