Let the Future Commence: Florida Tech Holds Fall 2021 Graduation Ceremonies

More than 740 Cross the Stage at Dec. 18 Ceremonies

Though masks may have hidden their smiles, it was still abundantly clear how hundreds of Florida Tech students felt as they received their diplomas at the university’s two fall commencement ceremonies on Dec. 18: excited, happy and focused on what’s next.

For many, that will mean heading into the workforce. Others will continue on in classrooms and labs as they seek advanced degrees.

All of them can now call themselves Florida Tech Panthers for life.

Florida Tech conferred 749 degrees across the two ceremonies, including for 189 students who completed their coursework through Florida Tech Online and 131 who attended classes at the university’s off-campus education centers. At the 9:30 a.m. undergraduate ceremony, more than 230 students crossed the stage; the 2 p.m. graduate ceremony saw more than 335 participants.

The 2021 graduating class featured students from 37 countries and 32 U.S. states.

President Dwayne McCay offered remarks at both ceremonies.
