Featured Database: Aeronautics and Aviation
In today’s featured database post, we’ll be reviewing two of the key databases for Aviation and Aeronautics students: ACM Digital Library and Aerospace Database.
ACM Database
The Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) database covers topics such as avionics, simulation, air traffic control, airport management, human factors, and aviation weather.
To find full-text results, use the search box in the top right corner of the page and search within the publications from ACM and other affiliated organizations.

Refine your search using the tools on the left. You can refine by people (name, institution, author, editor, and reviewer), publication (year, name) and by conference.
The following information is provided for each result:
- Title
- Author
- Date and publication information
- Full Text
- Bibliometrics and citation count
Aerospace Database
Published by ProQuest, Aerospace Database covers aerodynamics, aircraft design and instrumentation, communications and navigation, environmental pollution, meteorology, propellants, and many other subjects. Aerospace Database pulls from over 4,000 current titles, including those published by AIAA and NASA. Coverage is from 1962 to the present.
Like all ProQuest databases, users may limit their results to peer-reviewed information.

Search refining tools are available on the left side of the results page, and allow users to limit by publication type, format, date, language, and subject.
