Former U.S. Olympic Committee Member to Speak at Florida Tech

– Florida Tech will present a lecture by Patrick Rodgers, chief compliance officer for the U.S. Olympics committee, 2000-2003, on April 11. Part of the
School of Management Distinguished Lecturer Series, his presentation will take place on campus at 9 a.m. in the All Purpose Room of the Denius Student
Center.

Rodgers will address the subject of ethics.

Before his resignation in 2003, Rodgers designed, developed and implemented a comprehensive ethics and compliance program for the Olympic Committee. He
also provided compliance oversight of 2012 Olympic candidate cities and conducted investigations providing ethics counseling to athletes, board members and
the National Sports Governing Bodies.

Over the past 27 years, he has held leadership positions in ethics, compliance and business conduct programs. Most recently, he was director of business
ethics and compliance for a diverse environmental services and telecommunications company, RMCI, of McLean, Va. He was also corporate director of ethics
and compliance at Hughes Electronics in Los Angeles, Calif.

He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska and a master’s degree from Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif.
