Aviation Management Graduate Flying High
Austin Roland Holt graduated from Florida in 2006 with an Aviation Management degree. Austin is currently a pilot, flying for Mesa Airlines, Inc.
“I am an airline captain and at my job I could work 16 hours in a row and fly anywhere from two to eight legs for a total of 8 hours of flying.”
Austin averaged 250-300 flight hours in his time at Florida Tech and was able to learn in great year-round flying conditions.
“The coolest thing that my friends and I would do is while we were building our flight time we would go to the airport early in the morning and fly somewhere for breakfast or fly down to the Florida Keys and spend the weekend.”
