Womens Business Center Presents Business by the Numbers

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Institute of Technology’s Women’s Business Center will present Business by the Numbers: A Primer in Keeping Score and Cash Flow.
The course will be held on campus on Saturday, June 21, 9 a.m.–4 p.m. in the Hartley Room of the Denius Student Center, second floor. The cost is $45.

The day consists of a morning seminar and afternoon workshop for business owners and anyone planning a new business. Content will cover accounting basics
and cash flow in terms anyone can understand and apply. The course is valuable for anyone who wants to better understand projecting cash flow and how cash
flow forecasts and pro forma financial statements fit together.

“This information will be very basic. No one that will leave the workshop unable to do the exercises,” said Carolyn Fausnaugh, Ph.D., course instructor.

A Florida Tech assistant professor of strategy and new ventures, Fausnaugh, whose entrepreneurial and financial career spans more than 40 years, conducts
workshops and seminars nationally. She has advised hundreds of companies, ranging from small start-ups to IBM. Fausnaugh offers expertise in areas related
