#1 Spartans Too Much for Tech Volleyball

TAMPA, FLA. – Tech losses another hard battle against top ranked Tampa Spartans in three games 30-15, 30-10, and 30-21.

The Spartans dominated games one and two taking significant leads early in each game to take the 2-0 lead going into game three.

As game three begun, the Panthers found confidence and battled hard matching each Spartans attack. With the game tied at 15 apiece, the Spartans took back
control and didn’t let Tech back in the game taking the third game 30-21 for the match win.

The Panthers capitalized on 22 kills with Amanda Boyce (Madison, WI) and Brenna Lane (Dade City, Fla.) leading the team with 5 kills apiece while Lindsay
Foster (Titusville, Fla.) added 4 and Freshman Frankie Brown (Panama City, Fla.) recorded 3 kills on the day. Freshman Camille Hines (Lakeland, Fla.) led
Tech with 9 assists; she also recorded 5 digs in the match.

Defensively the Panthers recorded 45 digs with Freshman Melissa Reinders (Orlando, Fla.) leading with 18 kills while Boyce and Lane totaled 16, 10 and 6
