Public Meeting to Discuss Master Plan for Valkaria Airport

– The first public meeting to discuss the Valkaria Airport Master Plan Update will be held from 7 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 25th at Florida Institute of
Technology in Melbourne, in the College of Aeronautics lecture hall, A110, first floor. Florida Tech’s Center for Airport Management and Development was
awarded a $59,000 contract from Brevard County to conduct a master plan update for the Valkaria Airport.

This will be the first public “kickoff” meeting. It is an opportunity to introduce the study team, explain the scope and process of the project, and
identify key stakeholders and issues surrounding Valkaria Airport and its future.

Concerned citizens are strongly encouraged to attend, ask questions, and complete public input forms.

The conference room is located in Skurla Hall (College of Aeronautics Building) on the northeast corner of University Blvd and Country Club Rd. Travel
north or south on US-1 or Babcock St. to University Blvd. Go west on University Blvd. to Country Club Rd. Free university parking is ample after 6 p.m.
along University Blvd. and Country Club Rd.
