Digital Showcase Extravaganza Is Open to Public

MELBOURNE, Fla. — Florida Tech’s Fourth Annual Digital Showcase is open to the public on Feb. 23, with events from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. The showcase begins in
the Applied Computing Center, second floor of the Evans Library, and wraps up at the Gleason Center for the Performing Arts, on campus. The event is
free.
Workstations will be on display, featuring digital/graphics demonstrations of projects, products and works of art. Apple® Inc. will hold two sessions at 11
a.m.-noon and 1-2 p.m. to demonstrate new Macintosh ® hardware and software. Apple also will provide light refreshments.
In addition, the Full Sail School of Real World Education will present a semi-tractor trailer exhibit at the Clemente Center, 10 a.m. -3 p.m. International
artist, Frits van Eeden, will hold an interactive painting seminar in the Link Multimedia Room, Evans Library, 3-4 p.m.
Capping the day, the Light Tribe will perform a multimedia music-to-light show in Gleason, 6-8 p.m.
Digital Showcase sponsors include Florida Tech’s Instructional Technology Department and Digital Domain, Apple Inc.; the Full Sail School of Real World
Education and the Light Tribe.
