Florida Tech Travels to FMU

the game

Florida Tech and the Lions of Florida Memorial University met just a week ago resulting in a 65-53 win for the Panthers. It was a hard-fought game for most
of the night. The Panthers only held a four point advantage at halftime, but pulled away late in the game. The win gave Florida Tech an all-time 25-2
record against Florida Memorial. Tonight, the Lions get another chance, but this time at their place. Last game became physical with the Lions registering
24 personal fouls to Florida Tech’s 19. Even though the Florida Memorial led in blocks and rebounds, the Panthers will be looking to add another win to
their record.

on the panthers

Florida Tech lost their last game in a conference match-up with the Barry. Tonight, they’ll be looking to bounce back against the Lions of Florida Memorial
University. The Bucs were able to hold Florida Tech’s most consistent scoring threat, junior guard Kristin Heminger, to just three points. She scored 18
against the Lions in their previous meeting. The highest scoring Panthers against Barry were freshman guard Lynisha Nelson and senior forward Casselle
Russell with eight points a piece. Other than three-point shooting percentage, the Panthers trailed the Bucs in every category. Look for improvement
tonight.

on Florida Memorial University

The last game for the Florida Memorial Lions was against Florida Tech last Monday. They’ve had a full week to rest so should be refreshed for tonight’s
game. They also have home court advantage on their side. But they did lose to Florida Tech in the last game. Until then, however, the Lions were on a five
game winning streak. They’ll be trying to get back on track tonight.
