Study Shows Humans Affected Amazon More Than Climate Change

An international research team, including ecologists from Florida Institute of Technology and University of Amsterdam, investigated the 7,000-year history of a tropical Amazonian forest and found that human disturbance, more than climate change, affected the species composition of tropical forests over the last 1,000 years.
