As a Florida Tech student, you'll encounter all sorts of campus events\u2014concerts, lectures, presentations, parties and more. The most difficult part is figuring which affairs to attend. Here's a list of some of the events to put on your calendar.\n\n\n\n\n1. Homecoming\n\nSo technically Homecoming is a series of events, but it's worth it to spend a few days celebrating in the streets of downtown Melbourne and on the football field. The week boasts all sorts of interesting occasions including a 5K run, a parade, an intense football rivalry match-up and Homecoming Fest,\u00a0a concert featuring some of the hottest stars in the music industry.\u00a0Homecoming is held every year in late October or early November.\n\n\n\n\n\n2. International Festival\n\nWith a third of campus comprising of international students, there are tons of opportunities to learn about and partake in cultural activities. But nothing compares to our annual International Fest. Hundreds of students and local community members come together to provide the ultimate worldly experience through performance, food, wares and diversity-themed display booths showcasing a variety of traditional clothing, informational literature, maps, flags and artifacts. The fest is held in February every year.\n\n\n\n\n3. Exam Jam\n\nA newer tradition to campus is Exam Jam. Held in the spring every year, Exam Jam is a time for students to unwind and have some fun before final exams begin. The event includes various bouncy castles, face painting, caricature drawing, live music, food trucks and tons of free campus swag. It's the best way to end a school year!\n\n\n\n\n\n4. Student Activities Trip Series\n\nFlorida is chock-full of unique activities for all types of adventurers. Through the Office of Student Activities, several trips are planned throughout the year including Kennedy Space Center, Brevard Zoo, Disney World, Universal Studios and Orlando shopping malls and outlets. Also, cruise and European expeditions are planned for spring break for those who'd like to add a little extra something to their vacation.\n\n\n\n\n5. Midnight Breakfast\n\nOne night every fall and spring just before exams week, Panther Dining Hall opens its doors to all students and provides the ultimate breakfast\u2014free of charge\u2014during the late hours of the day. Relax and indulge in french toast, omelettes, bacon and hash browns with your friends. Yum!
