The Fratellis Headline Homecoming Concert: November 3, 2017
Don’t miss your chance to see The Fratellis when they perform a free concert during Florida Tech’s Homecoming Festival Friday, November 3rd.
The Fratellis are a Scottish rock band from Glasgow, formed in 2005. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Jon Fratelli (born John Lawler), bass guitarist Barry Fratelli (born Barry Wallace), and drummer and backing vocalist Mince Fratelli (born Gordon McRory).
Their singles “Chelsea Dagger” and “Whistle for the Choir” were both top ten hits in the UK charts.
The Fratellis have released four albums; Costello Music (2006), Here We Stand (2008), We Need Medicine (2013) and Eyes Wide, Tongue Tied (2015).
Past award include being named “Best British Band” and “Best British Breakthrough Act.”
Also appearing will be The Sleepwalkers whose hits include; Big Hoax, Bottom of the Hill, Chicago, Come Around and It’s a Good Day to Watch the World Go by.
Parking is available in designated spots in Downtown Melbourne. There may be a fee.
The concert is open to the public. No ticket required.
Be part of Florida Tech’s annual Homecoming Fest to be held in downtown Melbourne. The Florida Tech Alumni Association has joined forces with Mainstreet Partners to create a memorable evening featuring street vendors, food, drinks, and great music.
The event takes place, Friday. November 3, 2017 from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m.
