Shark Expert to Lecture at Brevard Community College, Cocoa

– Dr. John F. Morrissey of the Hofstra University Department of Biology, will present “Sharks! Myths, Mysteries and Misconceptions” Jan. 12 at 7 p.m. in
the Brevard Community College, Cocoa campus, Fine Arts Auditorium. The public is welcome to this free lecture.

The presentation is an InSTEP Seminar. It is one of a series of four lectures, sponsored by Florida Tech’s Integrated Science Teaching Enhancement
Partnership (InSTEP), with Brevard Public Schools. The InSTEP project is made possible by a $1.7 million National Science Foundation grant to Florida Tech.
The grant enables the university to work with Brevard County high school science teachers to develop new learning modules.
