A Letter to Panther Fans from Head Football Coach Steve Englehart

Panther fans,

We’re excited to kick off our second season of football this Saturday, Sept. 6 against Stetson in DeLand. Last season was special in many ways, and we appreciated all of the fan support. We’re going to need that support and more as we look to fulfill our year-two motto, which is, “Enlarge our territory.” We have five home games at Palm Bay High School’s Pirate Stadium and away games within our home state, Alabama, Georgia and Texas.

Four of our five home games will begin at 6 p.m. or later. Our home schedule opens with a non-conference game Saturday, Sept. 13 against Ave Maria. Following a two-game road trip, we return home to kick off Gulf South Conference play versus Delta State on Thursday, Oct. 2. That game will be carried on ESPN 3 and the WatchESPN app.

We host North Alabama, a 2013 NCAA Division II quarterfinalist, on Saturday, Oct. 18. The following week is our Homecoming game against Mississippi College on Saturday, Oct. 25. The regular season ends at home against Valdosta State on Saturday, Nov. 15.

Those five home games are included in our season ticket package. The package remains $65 for adults and $40 for Florida Tech employees, seniors ages 65 and above, and children ages 5-16.

The Florida Tech Ticket Office is also selling individual game tickets for all five home games. The ticket prices for reserved premium seats are $12 for adults and $8 for FIT employees, seniors, youth and military with ID. For general admission seating, it is $10 for adults and $5 for FIT employees, seniors, youth and military. Children age 4 and under are free in both sections.

If you are interested in catching a game on the road, the ticket office is selling individual game tickets for this Saturday’s game at Stetson for $20, the Sept. 20th game at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, against Tarleton State, and the Sept. 27th game against Bethune-Cookman in Daytona Beach.

Visit FloridaTechSports.com for more information. Throughout the football season, the ticket office at the Clemente Center will be open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Each time we step onto the field, we will showcase a high-effort, hard-nosed and never-give-up brand of Panther football.

We look forward to seeing you help spread the Panther Pride at our games this fall.

Go Panthers!
