Aaron Breaux Named MVP for September 2025

Facilities Operations administrative assistant Aaron Breaux was named Most Valuable Panther for September 2025.

In announcing the award, the Office of Human Resources said:

“Aaron Breaux started his career as a Panther in 2019 and has spent the past six years serving in Facilities Operations. He consistently serves as a role model for professionalism, teamwork and dependability within the facilities department. His responsiveness to requests from multiple departments, combined with his approachable demeanor, fosters a positive work environment that inspires colleagues. Breaux’s willingness to assist students, faculty and staff, even outside of his direct responsibilities, has enhanced the reputation of facilities as a reliable and customer-focused department. Breaux’s work is marked by an unwavering commitment to excellence. His proactive communication and hands-on involvement demonstrate the highest standard of service at Florida Tech. He consistently delivers results that not only meet but exceed expectations, whether through problem-solving on the spot or implementing creative, cost-conscious solutions that benefit the university. His attention to detail, follow-through, and determination to “get it right the first time” ensure that projects and services are completed to the highest quality standard, reflecting positively on the entire university. His pivotal role in supporting critical campus operations during move-in and the start of the academic semester eased the burden of the busy facilities schedule.

Breaux has embraced responsibilities well beyond his regular job scope, often stepping in to cover urgent needs when staffing or time constraints could have caused delays. He has voluntarily taken on additional assignments, including last-minute event setup and troubleshooting complex technical issues. Recently, Breaux took the lead in creating focused areas of improvement, directly supporting facilities’ goals and campus-wide priorities. His tireless work ethic, adaptability and willingness to be “the one who gets it done” make him an indispensable member of the team. For these reasons, Aaron Breaux is our Most Valuable Panther.”

Nominations are requested for the Most Valuable Panther program, which recognizes employees who embody the university’s standards for innovation as demonstrated by their excellence and quality service. Please include specific and concrete details; give an example. How exactly does the nominee benefit the organizational unit, department or university?
