Anything Goes to Play at Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, FLA. — The Florida Tech College Players fall production is Cole Porter’s Anything Goes, the popular, regularly revived musical from the
1930s. Performances will be on Nov. 9, 10, 15, 16 and 17 at 8 p.m. in the Gleason Performing Arts Center, on campus.

The musical introduced such well-known hits as “You’re the Top,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” and “Anything Goes.” Its story focuses on the below-deck
shenanigans of passengers on an ocean liner bound for London from New York. The comedic passengers include a gangster, wealthy debutante and her mother,
nightclub singer, New York businessman and his stowaway assistant.

The lead roles are played by Alex Taverna, Victoria Nicastro, Jessica Cortez and Jacob Zehnder. The director is David Herndon.

Tickets, available at the door, cost $10 for general admission; $5 for ages 65 and older, and those with a military or student IDs; and $3 for Florida Tech
