Florida Tech Continuing Education Offers Live Project Management Exam Prep Course Starting May 7

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Continuing Education department announces a live, 4 ½-day Project Management Exam Prep course to prepare individuals to take and pass the PMP® Certification Exam. The 5th Edition of the PMBOK® Guidebook was recently released and will be used in this course.

This course is designed to help participants develop an integrated project plan that includes a scope, schedule, budget and risks. Florida Tech’s PMP® Exam Preparation course is spread over a month, with up to 150 days of follow-up with the instructor.

The onsite course will be offered May 7, 19, 20 and 21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hampton Inn, 130 Sheriff Drive. The 35-hour program is designed to satisfy the 35-hour formal project management training requirement from the Project Management Institute, which is necessary for PMP® certification.

The classroom workshop is offered through a partnership with Space Age Projects. Those who enroll will receive course materials that cater to numerous multi-modal learning experiences, including auditory, visual and cognitive. The course includes breakfast and lunch.
