Independent Assessments Agree Florida Tech a National Leader in Educational Value
MELBOURNE, FLA.—As parents and prospective students search for information on which colleges yield the best return on investment, new data confirms Florida Institute of Technology’s reputation as a national leader.
Already a Tier One Best National University according to U.S. News and World Report, other measures continue to emerge that take a closer look at graduate salaries.
The 2012-2013 College Salary Report published by PayScale.com ranked Florida Tech graduates’ mid-career median salaries in first place among Florida universities and 17th overall for salary potential in the Southeast, among 175 schools. The university earns a higher overall numerical rating than any public or private university in the state. Florida Tech graduates have mid-career median salaries of $88,600.
Additionally, Florida Tech was just lauded by the online Business Insider, recognized for its outstanding educational value. The analysis noted that “Future income isn’t the only factor that should determine college choice, but it may be the most important one” when it included Florida Tech on its achievement list of universities that shouldn’t be overlooked.
