Business Ethics Breakfast Set for Florida Tech

– The Florida Tech School of Management Center for Business Ethics will host its quarterly breakfast meeting on Jan. 21 at 7:30 a.m. in the All Purpose
Room of the Denius Student Center.

The guest lecturer will be Dr. Harold Peckron, Ph.D., J.D., L.L.M., M.B.A. His topic will be “Ethical Responsibility Act for Corporate America.”

Peckron will sketch the ethical and legal parameters of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. This information is of benefit to anyone concerned with corporate
governance, including business students and faculty, board members, CEOs, COOs and CFOs.

Current events make the subject a timely one. Dr. Tim Hollingsworth, dean of the school, said, “This topic is of special interest now because of ethical
problems in corporate America and the ethical problems that have arisen because of alleged insider trading.”

The meeting includes continental breakfast, which is free to students and $5 for others. The Denius Student Center is located in the heart of the campus,
off Country Club Drive.

For information and reservations, contact Jean Grunke, School of Management, at 674-7327.
