Florida Tech Business Students Offer Marketing Idea, Rank Fourth
MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech students in a marketing principles class joined in an EdVenture Partners competition to provide marketing ideas to the makers
of the Cadillac. The team presented their marketing communications plan for a live case, focused on the launch of the new Cadillac CTS model, and placed
fourth out of 53 schools in the undergraduate division’s first round of the National Case Study Competition.
Florida Tech team members were Team Captain Matt Welch, Erica Hildreth, Tim Lamb, and Joshua Martin. The faculty adviser was Andrew Cudmore, Ph.D., Florida
Tech College of Business assistant professor.
EdVenture Partners develops innovative industry-education partnerships to create a real-world marketing and learning experience for students and educators.
Cudmore and his classes have now partnered with EdVenture Partners on two live cases. One was for the Kingdom of Morocco; the other was on a major
promotional campaign for the Florida National Guard.
The Florida Tech College of Business offers bachelor’s degrees in accounting, business administration, business and environmental studies, ecommerce
technology, information management and international business. It also offers the master’s of business administration and the executive master of business
administration degrees.
