Harris CEO Howard Lance to Lecture at Florida Tech

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech will present a breakfast lecture by Howard L. Lance, chairman, president and CEO of Harris Corporation on Oct. 30 at 7:30 a.m.
Part of the College of Business Distinguished Lecturer Series, his presentation will take place on campus in the John T. and Martha Hartley Room of the
Denius Student Center.
Lance, at Harris Corp. since 2003, was formerly president of NCR Corp. and chief operating officer of its Retail and Financial Group. Previous to that, he
was executive vice president of Emerson Electric Co. At Emerson, he led one of Harris Corp.’s largest segments, Electronics and Telecommunications. He
earned a master’s degree in management from Purdue University’s Krannert Graduate School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering
from Bradley University in Peoria, Ill.
