Catholic Campus Ministry Gives to Tsunami Relief
– Florida Institute of Technology’s Catholic Campus Ministry, directed by Catholic Campus Chaplain, Fr. Douglas Bailey SDS, raised $3,000 to send to the
Salvatorian sisters in Sri Lanka for tsunami relief.
Over 90 sisters in Sri Lanka staff an orphanage, clinic, hospital, school and social service agency. Much of their work is along the coast where Indian
Ocean tsunamis have devastated the areas. “The sisters will use the money to help homeless disaster victims,” said Bailey.
Florida Tech is located in Melbourne, Brevard County.
