Continuing Education Offers Final Project Management Course Before Exam Changes

Sessions Start Feb. 21

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Continuing Education Department announces a live, four-day Project Management Rapid Exam Prep course to prepare individuals to take and pass the PMP® Certification Exam before it changes. The 5th Edition of the PMBOK® Guidebook was recently released and corresponding changes to the exam will occur later this year.

This course is designed to help individuals develop an integrated project plan that includes a scope, schedule, budget and risks. Florida Tech’s PMP® Rapid Exam Preparation course is deployed in four consecutive days, with up to 150 days of follow up with the instructor who will help with any questions or concerns about preparing for the exam.

The onsite course will be offered Feb. 21-24, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at the Florida Tech Commons building. The 35-hour program is designed to satisfy the 35-hour formal project management training requirement by the Project Management Institute, which is necessary for PMP® certification.

The classroom workshop is offered through a partnership with Space Age Projects. Those who enroll will receive course materials that cater to numerous multi-modal learning preferences, including auditory, visual and cognitive. The course includes breakfast and lunch each day.
