The Butler Did it…Singing! Comes to Florida Tech Nov. 8, 9, 10, 14, 15 and 16

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The fall production of Florida Institute of Technology’s College Players is ‘The Butler did it… Singing!,’ by Arne Christiansen. The play will run at the Gleason Performing Arts Center on campus Nov. 8, 9, 10, 14, 15 and 16. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m.

The musical comedy is based on Tim Kelly’s famous play, “The Butler Did it.” In the play, the wealthy Miss Maple invites a group of mystery writers to her mansion. Each writer is to portray the fictional detective their works are based on with the promise of a financial reward for the writer who maintains their character the longest. Unexpectedly, a dead body turns up, and the characters find themselves in the middle of real murder mystery.

Directing the play is Anthony Robustelli. The cast, in order of appearance: Amilea Borel, Samee Sisk, Rebecca Demczuk, Miles Walio, Erich Geisert, Alex Wise, Nicolas Klofta, Elzabeth Avery, Andrew Jevitt and Kaija Owens.

The Gleason Performing Arts Center is located on University Boulevard. Tickets for the show are $10 for general admission, $5 for seniors and military personnel and free to Florida Tech students. For more information, email Samantha Sisk at ssisk2011@my.fit.edu.
