Caruso Named to Board of Trustees

– Florida Institute of Technology Board of Trustees Chair Allen S. Henry and university President Anthony J. Catanese are pleased to announce the addition
of Joseph Caruso to the board.

Caruso, the president and CEO of Omnifirst Capital Corporation, is a 1973 graduate of Florida Tech, earning a bachelor’s degree in management science.

“We are delighted that an alumnus, Joseph Caruso, has agreed to join the Florida Tech Board of Trustees,” said Catanese. “Joe brings a wealth of business
and investment experience to the university. We are certain to benefit from his expertise and wise counsel.”

Omnifirst Capital Corporation is a private investment firm specializing in commercial real estate and investments in the communications, health care and
entertainment industries. Caruso is also the owner of two minor league baseball teams, the Double-A Trenton Thunder and the Single-A Lakewood Blueclaws.
