Panthers Baseball Rally in the 9th for Victory against Felician

MELBOURNE, Fla. – Kevin Villa (Miami, Fla.) hit a walk off base hit driving in the winning run in the Panthers last at bat to take a 7-6 victory over the
Golden Falcons of Felician College.

Going down in the first after the Falcons pushed a run across the Panthers started their own offensive production scoring two run in the first inning off a
double to left field from Sam Palace (Clarkston, Mich.) driving in Davidson from second and Condotta from first to take a 2-0 lead.

The Falcons retaliated back getting a two run in the second off of two base hits to retake the lead 3-2. Tech was shutout in the second and then again in
the third. In the forth, the Falcons would score one run to gap a 4-2 lead but the Panthers would push across one run to trail again by one 4-3 after four
innings of play.

With a one hit one run fifth inning, the Panthers tied the ballgame up 4-4 with both teams going into the seventh after being shutout in the sixth. The
Falcons seventh pushed two more run across from a sac fly and then double at the next at bat to take a lead 6-4. Tech following the two run rally got
within one after another one run one hit inning.

Tech continuing to rally tied the game up in the eight after Nick Brennan (Detroit, Mich.) reached base for the first time in the game off his lone base
hit to left center. After being pushed to second from a sac bunt by JD Davidson (Naples, Fla.) and then to third by Steve Condotta’s (Mississauga, Ontario)
lone hit of the day, Brennan was knocked in tying the game at six off the bat of Sam Palace.

After being called in from the bullpen in the middle of the seventh, Jody Danca (Naples, Fla.) closed the ninth out with a one, two, three inning for the
Panthers turn to win the game.

Eamonn Powers (Staten Island, NY) reached on walk, Mike Demma (Coral Springs, Fla.) who came in to run to Powers got to second on a wild pitch. Brendan
Twomey (Boca Raton, Fla.) who came in the eight reached on a hard hit to the shortstop. A balk moved the runners up to third and second with now catcher
Kevin Villa who came in the seventh at the plate. A base hit blooper over second base into right field drove in the winning run from third for the Panthers
7-6 victory over Felician College.

Jody Danca was rewarded the win after his 2.2 innings of pitching coming in the seventh; Danca’s record is now 1-1 on the year.
