Enjoy Random Acts of Music on Aug. 2

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Tech’s WFIT 89.5-FM and the Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department present Random Acts of Music and the pop punk rock
Murphee K Band. The band members are all University of Florida students.

Ronnie Pirtle, drummer and vocalist, is the son of Brevard County bass player Ron Pirtle. George Perez, on guitar, does vocals and Chris Hencher is on
bass. The band’s goal is to “always keep it fun.” Fusion Magazine said the band “showed a lot of potential and should be a band to look out for in the next
year.”
