Free Mars Rover Lecture Set

Dr. Mark Adler, chief mission concept architect at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, will present the public lecture, “Exploring Mars: The Journey of the
Mars Exploration Rovers,” at Florida Tech on June 21. The lecture will be at 8 p.m. in the Florida Tech Olin Engineering Complex Auditorium, Room 118 EC.

Adler’s talk will detail how the rovers Spirit and Opportunity were designed, built, tested, flown, landed and driven. He will also explain how they work
and their accomplishments during their mission.
