Florida Tech Gains Fulbright Faculty Scholar This Fall

Dr. Nihat Kaya will be a Fulbright Faculty Scholar in the Florida Tech College of Business starting this fall. An associate professor of business from
Gebze Institute of Technology in Turkey, he will conduct research at Florida Tech between September 2006 and March 2007.

His project will be to compare U.S. and Turkish businesses in terms of the effects and relationships of human resource management practices and corporate
entrepreneurship on business performance.

Kaya has been published in international conference publications, international journals and refereed national journals. His work has appeared, for
example, in the International Journal of Human Resource Management and the Academy of Entrepreneurship Journal. He is a noted expert in the field of human
resource management and of corporate entrepreneurship. He has also published chapters in scientific books.

Kaya earned MBA and doctoral degrees in business administration from Gebze Institute of Technology in Turkey.
