Feb. 7 Workshop Helps Businesses Understand How to Get Their Money’s Worth

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Continuing Education office announces the new Earned Value Management workshop, to be held Feb. 7, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., in partnership with Space Age Projects. Earned Value Management, a cost management technique, provides an objective measurement of project performance to indicate precisely what is gained for what is spent.

This eight-hour workshop, to be held at Florida Tech Commons, will offer all the essential principles necessary for making Earned Value Management an effective practice in an organization. Participants will learn versatile methodologies to apply in a wide variety of projects—small or large, commercial or government. Participants receive a training manual, reference card and email consultation with an instructor for 30 days from the start of the workshop. Additionally, participants may claim up to eight education contact hours toward satisfying the PMP application, or eight PDUs.
