Final Round of Flagler Fall Slam Cancelled Due to Rain
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. (Women’s Golf) – The final round of the Flagler Fall Slam was cancelled Tuesday
morning after heavy rains in the local area made the course unplayable. With the cancellation, Florida Tech’s women’s golf team finishes the tournament
tied for 11th. Nova Southeastern won the rain shortened 18-hole, 20-team tournament with a 319 at The Slammer and Squire Course at the
World Golf Village (par 72 – 5,815 yards). Lynn University’s Maha Haddioui was the lone golfer in the 102-player field to break par, carding a one-under 71
to earn medalist honors. Next up for the Panthers is the Nova Southeastern University Shark Invitational in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla. After a
