Florida Tech ABA Professional Development Program Offers One-Week Intensive Class toward Certification Requirements in Behavior Analysis in Miami Beach

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Florida Institute of Technology Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Professional Development Program announces a one-week intensive course, BEHP 5000, Concepts and Principles in Behavior Analysis. It will be held at the Doubletree Ocean Point Resort and Spa in Miami Beach, Fla. The course will be taught live by Jose Martinez-Diaz, Ph.D., from July 12 through July 16. This course is the first in a sequence preapproved to meet instructional requirements for Board Certification in Behavior Analysis and is most appropriate for individuals with previous experience in the subject matter.

“Dr. Martinez-Diaz is such a dynamic, passionate speaker that students will not only learn the material, but be entertained by his real-life stories and interactive teaching style,” said Cindy Schmitt, program director for the ABA online program. “Most of our students have seen Dr. Martinez-Diaz on video, so it will be a nice opportunity for them to see him teach in person.”

Experienced individuals interested in beginning the coursework necessary for certification in behavior analysis should not miss this opportunity.
