– Florida Institute of Technology’s first specialty license plate goes on sale at all Brevard County tax collector auto tag offices on Monday, Dec. 15. The
plate depicts the university mascot, the panther.
Florida Tech President Anthony J. Catanese was the first to purchase the new plate for his car. “Many of our alumni have requested the specialty plate for
years,” he said. “Now alumni, faculty, staff and students will have the opportunity to ride with panther pride.” Florida Tech offers undergraduate programs
in science, engineering, science and math education, aeronautics, business, humanities, psychology, and communication; master’s programs in science,
engineering, aeronautics, business, psychology, communication, education (science, math, environmental and instructional technology); and doctoral programs
in science, engineering, psychology, and science and math education.
