Florida Tech Athletics Heard On ESPN Radio And Will Begin Broadcasting Away Games On Live Internet Streaming

The Panthers will be easier to follow with Florida Tech Athletics starting their live internet streaming of the Men’s and Women’s Basketball away games to
start. The first game that will be heard on the Florida Tech webcast will be the SSC match-up against the University of Tampa on Wednesday, January 11th,
2006 with the women tipping off at 5:30 p.m. EST and the men following at 7:30 p.m. EST in Tampa, Florida.

After this first broadcast, Athletics will continue to break new ground and broadcast all away basketball games to begin. Hopefully in the near future the
broadcasts will include home events and branch out to many different sports. Keep checking the Panther website at www.fit.edu/athletics for updates on the
Live Internet Athletic Broadcasts. For more information contact: Christa Parulis-Kaye, Sports Information Director @ cparulis@fit.edu or call 321-674-7484.

The office of University Communications is pleased to announce that ESPN Radio 1060 AM will broadcast a slate of men’s and women’s basketball games over
the next two months. The first of these broadcasts will be this Saturday, tipping off with women’s basketball action at 2 p.m., followed by the men at 4
p.m. Both squads face off against Nova Southeastern.

ESPN 1060 is the sports voice of Brevard and Indian River County, and with a boost to 50,000 watts later this month, it will soon be heard throughout
Central Florida. Local radio sports personality Keith Lippert will handle play-by-play duties.

Other games scheduled for broadcast include men’s action against St. Leo on Jan. 14, men’s and women’s games against Eckerd on Jan. 18 and men’s and
women’s contests versus Lynn on Feb. 8.

So remember, if you can’t support the Panthers in person, now you can support them on the radio!
