Florida Tech Catholic Campus Ministry Plans Passover Seder

– Florida Tech’s Catholic Campus Ministry (CCM) will celebrate a Judaeo-Christian Passover Seder and festive meal on Tuesday, March 22 at 6 p.m. in the All
Faiths Center, on campus. The public is welcome to attend.

The service includes a lamb and turkey dinner, which costs $25. The deadline for RSVPs is March 17. For more information, call CCM at (321) 674-8045.

Passover is the eight-day observance commemorating the freedom and exodus of the Israelites, or Jewish slaves, from Egypt during the reign of the Pharaoh
Ramses II. A time of family gatherings and lavish meals called Seders, the story of the Passover is retold through the reading of the Haggadah. With its
special foods, songs and customs, the Seder is the focal point of the Passover celebration.
