Florida Tech Celebrates Homecoming Nov. 3-6; Many Activities Open to Community
MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology welcomes everyone to join alumni, faculty, staff and students as they celebrate Homecoming 2011 Nov. 3-6, “Hollywood Nights.”
The following Homecoming 2011 events of special interest are open to the community and are free unless noted:
Thursday, Nov. 3
5-8 p.m. Homecoming Kick-off Carnival – Residence Quad
8-11 p.m. Florida Tech Baseball Club vs. Florida International University, Andy Seminick-Les Hall Field
Friday, Nov. 4
3-5 p.m. All-Campus Open House – throughout campus
6:30-8:30 p.m. Talent/Lip Sync Show- Clemente Center
7-9 p.m. All Alumni Happy Hour- Crowne Plaza Oceanfront (Cash bar; drink specials for alumni)
Saturday, Nov. 5
7:30 a.m. Homecoming 5K Run (cost)
11 a.m.-noon Homecoming Parade
Noon-1 p.m. Homecoming and Family Weekend Barbecue – Panther Plaza and Panthereum
12-4 p.m. Family Fun Zone – Panthereum
