Florida Tech Co-Sponsors Clinical Hypnosis Workshop

– The Florida Tech School of Psychology and the Florida Society of Clinical Hypnosis will present a fall workshop program, Sept. 13 to 14, on the Florida
Tech campus, F.W. Olin Engineering Building, Room 118.

The workshop, offering “Integrating Neurofeedback and Hypnosis for Medical and Psychological Conditions” and “Hypnosis in Sex Therapy,” provides 14
continuing education units.

The workshop presenter is D. Corydon Hammond, Ph.D., of the University of Utah School of Medicine. He is past president and fellow of the American Society
for Clinical Hypnosis and fellow and current president of the International Society for Neuronal Regulation. He is an author of two books on hypnotic
suggestion and a third, on memory, trauma treatment and the law; an associate editor of the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and the Journal of
Neurotherapy: and is on the editorial board of the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine.

“Neurofeedback is one of the most cutting-edge topics in the area of clinical hypnosis and Dr. Hammond is one of the leading experts in the field,” said
Dr. Richard Elmore, Florida Tech professor of psychology and workshop coordinator.
