Florida Tech Concert Choir and Panther Jazz Big Band to Perform Nov. 22 and 23

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Music Program presents two free November concerts this month—A Concert Choir on Friday, Nov. 22 and the Panther Jazz Big Band on Saturday, Nov. 23. Both are at 7 p.m.

The Concert Choir presentation, “Moonlit Melodies: Singing Under the Stars,” will take place on the Crawford Green. The concert choir will explore lush songs about evening, moonlight and ethereal splendor under natural starlight. Outdoor seating will be available. The rain location will be the Gleason Performing Arts Center.

The Panther Jazz Big Band will perform “UnStandard: Jazz Favorites with New Attitude” in the Gleason Performing Arts Center. Expect fresh big-band perspectives on classic swing and bebop favorites by Charlie Parker, Miles Davis and many more.
