Florida Tech Consulting Signs Four New Contracts

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Tech Consulting, a department within the Office of Strategic Initiatives at Florida Institute of Technology, recently signed four new contracts.

Contracts were signed with the following organizations: ABA Technologies Inc., the Brevard County Solid Waste Management Department, Matrix Composites Inc. and Space Florida. The Florida Tech consultants responsible for the projects include Cynthia Schmitt, director of behavioral science and technology and adjunct professor; Howell Heck, associate professor of civil engineering; David Fleming, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering; and external consultants David Teek and Timothy Franta.

“These new contracts attest to our diverse capabilities. They represent areas of expertise ranging from engineering to management. We hope to continue building relationships by providing businesses with valuable university resources,” said Bob Merrill, director of Florida Tech Consulting.

Florida Tech Consulting provides consulting services to local, national and international organizations using faculty, staff, facilities and external partners at Florida Tech.
