Florida Tech Continuing Education Offers Marketing for Scientists Workshop Nov. 18

MELBOURNE, FLA.—The Florida Institute of Technology Office of Continuing Education announces the Marketing for Scientists Workshop Nov. 18, 2-4 p.m. The workshop is presented by the Department of Physics and Space Sciences and is open to the public.

The workshop aims to introduce scientists to fundamental business world techniques that matter most to them. These include sales, branding and relationship-building. It will help scientists to get their ideas across while maintaining their integrity and building good reputations. Topics include “Four kinds of proposals not to write,” “Using social media,” “How to sell yourself as a scientist” and “The importance of props and buzzwords.”
