Florida Tech Forum Focuses on Entrepreneurship

– Florida Tech’s School of Management will present a Faculty/Industry Forum on Oct. 19, from 3:30 to 5 p.m. The topic will be “Growing Our Community:
Entrepreneurship at Florida Tech, Part II.”

Free and open to the public, the forum includes a question and answer session and will be held in the Denius Student Center’s Hartley Room, on Country Club
Rd.

The featured speaker will be Randall Poliner, president of Antares Capital Corp. His presentation will cover the various ways entrepreneurs finance their
ventures and the current climate for venture capital funding in the wake of the DOT.COM bust. Poliner is a prominent businessman whose privately owned
venture capital firm invests equity capital in developmental and expansion-stage companies.

Dr. Carolyn Fausnaugh, co-director of Florida TechStart, will provide an update on Florida TechStart.
