Florida Tech Golfer David DAgostino Rewarded as Golfer of the Week

ORLANDO, Fla. – David D’Agostino (Melbourne,
Fla.)
captured medalist honors at the Fourth Annual Panther Invitational, shooting a three-round 217 (73-72-72) to win by one stroke as he was awarded
the Sunshine State Conference Golfer of the Week Honors.

As a team, the Panthers finished second (297-299-298=894) in the 18-team field, which included five other SSC teams. Playing in Viera, Fla., the Florida
Tech Men’s Golf Team finished two strokes shy of the championship title after leading the 2007 Panther Invitational in the first two rounds at the Duran
Golf Club. The Eagles of Florida Gulf Coast pulled it together in the final round to take the 4th annual Panther Invite with a winning score of 892, while
Tech finished a close second with 894. After holding the low round on the first round a 297 and a 299 second round they finished with a 298 on the third
round.

Leading the way for Tech, along with topping the three round leader board of the Par 74 course and 7,127 yardage course was David D’Agostino (Melbourne,
Fla.). D’Agostino notches his first collegiate career medalists honors shooting a one over for the entire tourney with 73-72-72 for the winning total of
217.
