Florida Tech Head Softball Coach Resigns

MELBOURNE, FLA. — Florida Institute of Technology officials today announced that Ellie Hanover, head softball coach, has resigned. Hanover, who has coached
the Panthers for four years, ends the season with a 22-26 record, 8-16 in the SSC. “We wish Coach Hanover well as she pursues other opportunities,” said
Bill Jurgens, director of athletics.

Florida Tech softball ended its season April 29. Jurgens announced that Jennifer Seidel, Florida Tech’s assistant athletic director of compliance, will
serve as interim head coach while a national search is conducted to name Hanover’s successor.
