Florida Tech Holds Top Spot Heading into Final Round of 2007 Panther Invitational

VIERA, Fla. — Florida Tech making the most of their home course advantage during Day One of the 2007 Panther Invitational at Duran Golf Club today. Eighteen
different teams are entered along with ten individuals from fifteen different schools and one international academy.

A total of 99 players are entered in the fourth annual Florida Tech Men’s Golf event. Six different Sunshine State Conference schools are participating
including the Crimson and Gray hosts. Other teams include fellow NCAA Division II and NAIA institutions that have come from as far away as France to play.

SSC opponents Lynn University, Nova Southeastern University, Eckerd College, Saint Leo University and the University of Tampa took the opportunity to play
a pre-SSC tournament at the Duran Golf Club.

Leading the way for Tech, along with topping the two round leader board of the Par 74 course and 7,127 yardage course is senior David D’Agostino
(Melbourne, Fla.). D’Agostino is currently at a two round score of 145 two strokes better than the second place golfer. He shot a 73 first round and tied
for the low round at par for the second round.

Three other Panthers are currently in the top ten including fellow seniors and four year member Justin Regier (East Amherst, N.Y.) and Jeff Wittup
(Calgary, Alberta) along with junior Dan Moline (Duluth, Minn.). Regier shot a 73 and 76 for a 149, five strokes over, and is tied for 3rd place. Wittup
and Moline are both tied for 8th place with a mirrored two round score of 76 &75 and 75 & 76 both tallying 151.

The Panther Invitational will conclude it’s final round tomorrow with all the teams teeing off a 7:30 a.m. the afternoon will conclude with the award
ceremony.
